A blind massage place I frequent has special playing cards but they look really old.  I would like to buy them a new deck as a gift.  They said they get them at 7-11 but I've never seen them there.  Any idea where I can find them in CM?

7/11 sell regular playing cards, but it seems unlikely they will have special decks for the blind. Printing playing cards in Thailand is a government monopoly---they are printed by the Excise Dept printing house. I suggest you call (if your Thai is good enough) or ask a Thai friend to call the Excise Dept in Bangkok and ask them if such cards are available, and if so, where they can be purchased.

The only problem with buying cards over the internet, as Rebo suggests, is that playing cards are a prohibited import. As I mentioned above, cards are a government monopoly. Each and every legal card (not just each deck) is marked with a small red excise stamp. That said, in practice you can bring in a couple of decks in your baggage without problems. However, having them sent in from abroad may be a problem...
