Popular Post electric
Talking to a petrol head friend today about the Thailand MotoGP. Apologies if all this has been covered elsewhere. PTT is the major sponsor. If you have a PTT Blue Loyalty Card, you get 40% discount on tickets purchased at 7/11 stores. Tickets purchased now for the big event 5th-7th October, will get you free admission to the official Winter Testing at the Buriram circuit on 16th-18th February. There will be 3 main grandstands. 4000 baht per seat, less 40% if you use the PTT card. There will be 4 other grandstands. 2000 baht per seat, less 40% if you use the PTT card. gootickets.com website indicates the location of each grandstand around the circuit. PTT Blue cards are available free from PTT servos. A Thai language application form is required to be filled in. Can obviously be done by your wife-girlfriend.

nahkit
There is a 15% discount if you buy your ticket before the 19th of February and a further 20% if you show a Honda motorcycle key, Yamaha motorcycle key, or purchase a minimum 99baht worth of Chang beverages (plus a few others). There is a limit on the 20% discount depending on which promotion you use. PTT give 25% off, as noted in the op. The bad news is that Agoda and Booking.com both say that there are no rooms available in Buriram during MotoGP weekend.

'Blind Freddy' could have/has been predicting the accommodation issue, no surprises there.
