So you didn't see anything wrong with a convicted criminal fugitive illegally dictating to a government, deciding policy, hiring and firing ministers at will, granting favors, etc etc etc. Oh, and trying to get a 2.2 trillion baht loan, off book and without any parliamentary scrutiny?

 

Or perhaps, as long as they get elected somehow, they can do what they want, like Hun Sen, Maduro and those lovely African "elected" dictators?

Oh well I didn’t say that but again who won the last multiple elections?I guess if 40% plus voting for a party then maybe they didn’t do a bad job and if some generals topple an elected government two times(they did so actually since 1932)in 8years and delaying elections multiple times then maybe you can think by yourself who is right or wrong

I disagree. They didn't cause the country's problems. They are a manifestation of the country's problems: knee-jerk nationalism, Thai exceptionalism, elite disdain for the provinces and the working poor, abuse of power, corruption and dishonesty, strict hierarchy and unthinking obedience to authority, flaunting of rules, and on and on.

I agree with you but they were smart enough to give at least a bit of the cake to the poor ,so people were happy, now the poor got nothing and on top a government who can’t care less about them.If there would be free elections Thaksin or Yingluck would win again,I would bet my last shirt on that.
