Pattaya police arrest ‘major’ crystal meth dealer

PATTAYA:--A man police call a “major” Pattaya-area crystal methamphetamine dealer has been arrested.

 

Authorities brought Sitthichai “Poy Wattam” Mayam, 34, to a police news conference Jan. 23, along with 100 grams of crystal meth they seized from him. Police also confiscated his car, motorbike, gold jewelry and amulets, mobile phone and a video of him allegedly transferring cash to his supplier.

 

Pattaya’s police chief, Pol. Col. Apichai Kroppech said Sitthichai has been operating in Pattaya and Banglamung for years and grown into a major dealer.

 

Sitthichai confessed he obtained drugs from another man in Sriracha, buying up to a kilogram of ya ice at a time for 40,000 baht. He’d then sell it with a 20 percent markup and transfer the funds to his supplier.

Me too Basil B. Had me thinking of "Panda eats shoots and leaves".

Just the words 'Pattaya police' make me cringe.  Any arrests they make will be low-hanging fruit whilst they receive their monthly tribute from the real criminals.

Major dealer??.....just another small time grub......but of course the RTP like photo ops defining their excellent efforts!......and the supplier remains unknown, as always!
