Five bullet holes found in the black panther’s carcass

 

 

Five bullet holes were found in the carcass of the black panter which was covered in the jungle camp of the hunting party of Italian-Thai Development Plc’s boss Premchai Karnasuta in Thung Yai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary.

 

The finding was undertaken by Pol Col Sommai Chotekanawin, a scientist attached to the crime and scientific centre in Kanchanaburi.

 

It was reported that the police officer simulated the shooting incident by placing the carcass of the black panther on a log and put a skull on the carcass in the position of a standing animal to determine the bullet ballistics.

Better wait for the lab results, it might just be some of these

This looks like a job for the Thai CSI squad. The same ones who so quickly solved the murders on Koh Tao. Should be a simple matter for their highly skilled forensic scientists to match the bullet holes in the skin to one of Premchai Karnasuta's many guns. There may even be some of his DNA on the skins. If not it shouldn't be too difficult to arrange. I suspect they have wide experience in planting DNA evidence.

Must be the Burmese, a Thai would never do such a thing. 

So you are saying that the dead pather was shot and killed? 

Maybe these are button-holes for Premchai's black panther cloak?

 

Seems like he's in ill-health and consuming certain organs might somehow address his health issues?

They where actually quite professional....

Yes you are right.... Thailand is indeed a zoo with species of humans you wouldn't find anywhere in the world anymore. They are preserved here 

It's obvious to me from looking at the header photograph that the animal was 'road-kill' and has been run-over by a road roller.....

If it was run over by a tank we could account for the bullet holes.

Not only that, it was dead when I found it, m'lud. 

Big brave hunter needs to make sure it is completely harmless before he approaches

 

I truly despise these poor examples of humanity, true there are scumbags everywhere but unfortunately in some societies they rise to the very top Thailand appears to be a case in point

 

They have the opportunity to do the right thing but there is no way they have the wherewithal or scruples to do that...

Maybe they can blame the barking deer. He took out the black panther with five shots, and a kalij pheasant who happened to see what happened, and then in a show of self doubt turned the gun on himself. 

 

Apparently the deer was not only barking mad, but also Burmese, having swaggered in across the nearby border looking for trouble.

Or losing or using it all up in one dodgy analysis. 

Always difficult to really get to the bottom of most news reports, do they actually have the carcass, if yes- any bullets retrieved and if there were, any analysis and matching against firearms retrived from the "alleged" perpetrators. 

Isn't alleged a lovely word to use when you know the party is guilty but  have no balls to actually say so?

Edited to add, a skin with 5 bullet holes is as useless as tits on a bull.
