3 Month Non B expiring. Can renew in Samui for 1 year?

Featured Replies

My 3 month Non B expiring. Can I apply in Samui Immigration for a new 1 year or extend the current one  for 1 year. If I must leave the country, which city is best option to apply?

You can apply for a one year extension of stay at immigration in Samui if you have a work permit and the required supporting documents from your employer.

You won't get an extension of stay in the country, or a new visa outside the country without a job/employer.

For extension you need work permit, 40.000 baht salary, four Thai employees per foreigner in your company.

From Samui, penang and kotha baru are the closest consulates.

For 1-year non-B you need eight months left on your work permit and be director of your company.

3 months NON-B is available with work permit or WP3 form from labour office.

Yes, you are right, I'm married to a Thai and 40.000 is for extension based on marriage.
