Transit visa to 90 day non b

Featured Replies

I realise similar issues have been posted but wanted to post a fresh thread for this yeare. I am currently living in Thailand on a transit visa (between jobs) and I need to get back on to a non b visa - in order to get the visa I am being told by my agent that I need a letter of approval from ministry of labour/WP3 which I cant obtain whilst I am in the country. It is not practical for me to be away for 7 days - are there any other options that I can consider? No doubt there are others who have been in similar scenarios...

Do you actually have a transit visa issued by a embassy or consulate or a 30 day visa exempt entry?

It is possible to apply for a work permit using a WP1 form while in the country to get a work permit application approval letter. But there may be some work permit offices that will say it is not possible.

30 day visa exempt entry. I am based in Bangkok, any recommended offices where a WP1 form will be possible?

I would guess all of them. But it may be more of a problem since you only have a visa exempt entry.

Perhaps you should also get a different agent.
