I know you can apply up to 45/30 days early,

but for a first time extension (12m marriage) if you apply early will the 12 month extension start from the date you apply or added onto the date on the permitted to stay stamp?

The extension will will start from the date your current permit to stay ends. It is the same for all extension applications.

Thanks, that's good wont lose any time by applying early.

Always a good idea to go as early as you can in case of any problems.

It will start from the day after your current 90 day permission ends. Day 1 of the extension is day 91.
