tgeezer
I need to teach my caddy some English to accurately describe my golf. F**king pathetic is what I say. I have trouble with the meaning. I suggested น่าสงสารย่างยิ่ง อต่สำเนียง แสดงความไม่จริ่งใจ Any suggestions?

tgeezer
Thanks digbeth, some interesting words there for me to mull over. In the circumstances I think that I should prefix them all with น่า, They all appear to fit and as always the context says more than the words themselves. I was around the 14th hole when I exclaimed and tried to translate for my caddy. I posted this topic on the 15th tee and finally told my playing partner while waiting on the final tee. I said something like, ลองบรรยายคุณภาพฝีมือของผม to my playing partner who had been ‘carrying’ me for the whole round. I got as far as น่าสงสาร when it was only her politeness in covering her mouth which prevents me describing her reaction as a guffaw! It would seem that น่าสงสาร was a decent joke at least, no need to add อย่างยิ่งแต่ไม่จริงใจ which probably correct anyway.
