Consider the following definition of fallacious writing:

We appreciate the effort you are making to get on-topic, but, encourage you not to worry if you cannot.

This may be helpful:

~

when revenge uses reason

to hone its edge,

it's name is: malice

It must be quite egregious ...

we are a chatterbox mind,
but, you make meaning:
don't inhale the dust

Inferno, I, 1-3. Tuscan dialect, Dante Alighieri, Divinia Commedia :

Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita
mi ritrovai per una selva oscura
ché la diritta via era smarrita.

Orang's haiku translation: :)

halfway down Life's road,
lost in wilderness shadows:
way off the straight path

khreung bai thanon Cheewit nee,
tung tee himaphan:
khwam khid dhamma hain

of course this is terrible Thai

Dorothy Sayers translation :

Midway this way of Life we're bound upon,
I woke to find myself in a dark wood,
Where the right road was wholly lost and gone

Mandelbaum translation :

When I had journeyed half of our life's way,
I found myself within a shadowed forest,
for I had lost the path that does not stray.

Longfellow translation :

Midway upon the journey of our life
I found myself within a forest dark,
For the straightforward pathway had been lost

i became a Thai expat,

took a bloody while:

but, no regrets, now

one more mid-life road-kill grasped

ersatz paradise

by thorns and blossoms

yes, food, women, all

the shiny wonders:

amazing the taste's still phed !

~

:)

เผ็ด phed: spicy

I am impressed

by one so blessed

now please get dressed

Why only four syllables

Did topic rule change

Or ignored Thai style

I was composing a reply to this yesterday, when the rain came to Nong Hoi, and the power went out ... I assume the net connection went out also  ...  let's see how memory does:

~

four lines worth as much

as five, or seven,

tomorrow: who will judge that ?

rain's here: at Nong Hoi !

how sweetly i'll sleep,

with, or without, a haiku

there were three haiku,

one's lost in the rain:

perhaps phayanaak ate it

~

พญานาค phayanaak : Nagas, the primordial water demi-urges responsible for making rain incorporated into Buddhist cosmology. If you want to read the "farthest out" cultural history of S.E. Asia: "Naga : Cultural Origins in Siam and the West Pacific" by Sumet Jumsai, with contributions by Buckminster Fuller. Chalermnit Press (1997), Oxford University Press; First edition (September 15, 1988)

Whatever Khuns Sumet, and Bucky, were on while they wrote that book: I wish I had some !

his latest tee rak,

sob story like all the rest:

just the wound he needs

meenakhom, Chiang Mai:

I dream of breathing

sweet air cleaned by Songkran rains

taste of nampheung in my mouth,
top-note of ma phrao:
nam tauhou's blessing !

precious tribhumi
balanced between air and fire:
we're breathing both, now

~

น้ำผึ้ง nampheung: honey

มะพร้าว ma phrao: coconut

มีนาคม meenakhom: March

น้ำ เต้าหู้ nam tauwho: soy-milk

tribhumi  : the classic Thai Theravadan cosmological construct ... for a visual and auditory treat: http://www.himmapanavatar.com/whats-himmapan
