So I intended to renew my extension tomorrow, and had a letter issued today, but I considered it better to move it to next week as I then would be able to do 90 day report on the same day. So that will be no problem to use the letter next week?

Bank statement to verify 800,000B has been there for 3 months has to be dated the same day or the day before.

I understood the bank letter stating the balance on your account was only valid for the date it's issued. This year I got the bank letter and made my retirement extension application on the same day. Last year I got away with a being a day late but had to provide an additional copy of my updated bankbook balance page showing a withdrawal on the day my retirement extension application was made. PS Just read Thailand J's post above and I agree, I think we're confusing the Income Affidavit with the Bank Balance Letter. 3
roiethome
did my marriage extension this week and my bank letter was 10 days prior to application no problem. But they will usually ask to see bank book or an ATM slip dated the day of application to prove that the money is still in the bank when you apply. EXACTLY! Bank letter sounds like the letter for the bank account balance. The bank has nothing to do with income affidavit! Validity of the bank letter depends on the "mood" of the respective immigration office. Mine (Khon Kaen) never complained when it was one day old. Chaeng Wattana seems to expect same day! Do it as close to the immigration visit as possible.
elviajero
@janclaes47 Sorry, ignore my advice/posts. I had 'income affidavit' in my head from advising someone else when I replied to you. It seems clear that you are asking about a bank letter confirming the 800K in your account. @KhunBENQ has given you the correct answer. Each office has it's own rules, but usually want it dated the same day, or within a couple of days of when you apply.
janclaes47
I read the posts made this morning, and went to immigration straight away, not worth taking any risks. Thanks for the replies
