More than 300 RCAF officers promoted, including 178 new generals

Featured Replies

The King has approved promotions for more than 300 officers of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, including 178 new generals, in the second mass military promotion so far this year.

The most recent edition of the Royal Book shows that three officers were promoted to four-star general, 13 were promoted to three-star general and 114 were promoted to two-star general. Another 178 were promoted to one-star general.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

If I get bored one day I might look to see if there is a country by country listing of the ratio of generals to total troops.

A fair bet that Thailand and Cambodia would be high on the list.

OK, I just had a quick look and Australia might be high on the list too

You wonder what they can do. Australia wouldn;t have that many.

They are getting in before the elections, make hay while the sun shines.

So just how many planes does their air force have ? Over 300 generals, overkill surely. ,

The epitome of cronyism, as well practised in Thailand. They just keep 'robbing' the average Thai citizen.

Shame on the elite! Probably more Air Force generals now, than aircraft. :post-4641-1156693976:
