It's no wonder new political parties are scrambling over one another to register when the trough is this full!

I think I can pretty much guarantee that if a non-junta party gets in, then the trough will have been already thoroughly licked cleaned and the figures pure accidental - an non prosecutional - typing errors.

On the other hand:

Thailand recorded a USD 120 million deficit in January, swinging from the USD 830 million surplus registered in the same month of last year but notably above the USD 280 million deficit clocked in December 2017.

Import growth outpaced exports in January and the external sector’s net contribution was therefore negative.

But:

Four types of Thai products have so far been affected by the US measures, including a hike in import duties on washing machines, solar panels, steel and aluminum and rubber bands.

Trump: "Trade wars are good."

Maybe not a good time to be a "friend" of the US as they seem to be the first targets in Trump's trade war.
