webfact
ITD assures the 14 tree stumps in front of Kasetsart University will not die By Thai PBS Italian-Thai Development Plc public relations office on Tuesday defended its method of pruning of roadside trees in front of Kasetsart University, assuring that they will not die and will soon be ready to be removed to be replanted elsewhere. In response to fierce criticism against the ITD’s cutting of the 14 trees which completely stripped them bare of any branches and look much like tree stumps, ITD public relations manager Kamol Mahaphol said today (Tuesday) that the ITD had complied with the City Administration’s procedure in removing of trees to elsewhere by pruning the trees of all the leaves so the trees could make adjustments and reduce emitting water. After that, ITD officials will place gunny bags around each of the trees before digging to remove the trees for rehabilitation and replanting, said Mr Kamol. At what point, I wonder, during the course of their questionable education, did these morons receive degrees in arboriculture to supplement their first-class ones in stupidity? And that ignores the fact that neither they, nor probably the dipsticks doing the pruning, would know one end of pruning shears from the other.
