I have been diagnosed with hemorrhoids close to my rear passage. When I stand in the shower and touch that area, it feels like a lump, small bubble.

I was given a few types of medicine (Diosomin). However the dr said I could go to the surgery dept in a few weeks if I wanted to and get it cut out. Has anyone ever done this?

Will the  h  go away on its own or is surgery necessary? Its my first one...

It is not clear from your post whether the hemorrhoid is causing you pain or discomfort?

Also not clear if you have internal or only external hemorrhoid. There is clearly an external one since you mention being able to palpate it in the shower. If there is only the external hemorrhoid, it will go away on its own with time and intervention is not needed unless it is infected or really painful - in which case would need to intervene within the first 1-3 days after it developed, after that it will nto speed recovery.

The main stays of conservative management are:

1 - avoiding constipation/needing to strain to move your bowels by eating a high fiber diet (fruits/vegetables, prunes or prune juice, oatmeal etc). Psyllium if diet alone doesn't do the trick.

2- avoiding sitting for prolonged periods of time if you can (prolonged sitting often precedes development of hemorrhoids and even after the current one is gone, you may get additional ones in future if you sit for prolonged periods.  Getting up frequently to walk around, even for a few minutes, is helpful.

3- topical ointments to relieve pain and itching if necessary

#1 and #2 above are also good ideas in general and will reduce risk of many other chronic health problems
