I've thought the same thing. However, maybe - I don't know - it's easier for people to complain to home about food and hygiene issues when they're semi-invisible amongst a complement of 5,000 personnel rather than on a destroyer with 150 personnel (or even 350 on the bigger boys). Also, Abe is a quarter-mile long floating runway which has been running on high-tempo, round the clock (24/7) cycle since arriving on station, the fatigue maybe - I don't know - both mental and physical could be more demanding on Abe's personnel than other ships in the fleet.
