An online drama has been doing the rounds of Facebook after a Grab Taxi driver turned up in a two door pick-up.

The passenger was furious that it was not a proper car as stated on the application and reported the driver.

The driver was enraged and subsequently sent the passenger an offensive text.

Grab Taxi (Thailand) has reacted swiftly to the story saying that the driver has been banned from operating with Grab for life.

They apologized to the passenger saying that the driver had misstated their vehicle in their application.

They assured the travelling public that they have checks and balances to make sure they offer a high level or reliable, safe and convenient service.

Have stopped using grab. Too many popups and promotions. Tired of wanting a cab and finding a car turning up. The local motocy will go and find one in less than ten minutes for Bt10.

The guy will just have to return to being a regular, abusive Bangkok taxi driver then I suppose!

Why do people think using an app will be any different?

Now even criminals can drive you around in uninsured vehicles.
