January 24, 200719 yr Hi All, My girlfriend has visitied me in the U.K before on a visit visa (and only left last week to go back to Thailand). We submiited a Fiancee Visa on Monday and have now been told to collect the passport from Regent house (Wednesday). Have we applied to quick?? Why have the Embassy returned Passport so quick?? Its going to be a long day as I cant get there until tommorrow. Has anyone else had such a quick response? Thanks in advance Steve
January 24, 200719 yr Steve, We know no more than you. It is feasible that if the application passed muster, the visa has been issued, but, equally possible, is that the paperwork wasn't up to scratch and they've refused it. It's going to be a long day. Scouse.
January 24, 200719 yr It is highly unlikely, although possible, that a settlement visa would be refused without an interview. They accepted that the relationship is genuine otherwise they would not have issued the visit visa. Therefore I think that congratulations are in order.
