Multiple work permit

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,
I have been searching on the net but did not find any information about the possibility to get multiple work permit.
As each work permit is related to a precise job/position, is it allowed to apply for 2 or 3 work permits if we have different part time jobs for different companies.
Before I begin to ask too many questions at the provincial very unfriendly labour office, I would like to know if some of you have experienced this situation.
If it is possible to get multiple WP, how does it work for the visa ? do you have to use only one of them to get the non-B+extensions or do you have to prepare all the paperwork for the nonB for each WP ?
thanks for your help

You can only have one work permit per province.

If the other jobs are in the same province they can added to your current work permit with permission of your employer that sponsored it.

Thanks for the info ! It seems very logical, surprisingly !
Do you know how it works to extend the nonB in that case ? Do you prepare only documents for the main occupation or do you have to prepare documents for each company stated in your work permit ?

You only have to show your primary employer when applying for the extension the extension of stay.
