If any body could please advice me about the procedures of application for a 1 year visa of a 58 year old Parent of Indian origin, it would be appreciated! The Parent does not have a Job nor a Pention. Is it possible to convert a Tourist Visa or should the Parent aquire for a Non- IMM visa from the Thai Consulate in India and then come to Th? Also if 800 K is required in the bank 3 months in advance, does this account need to be savings or fixed and should it be in foreign currency or in real money? Also is there a way to apply the Visa on the basis that a Thai PR i.e me would be supporting my parent? :o what are the documents required?

They should come into Thailand with Non-O obtained at the Embassy/Consulate in India. They will take with them a copy of the birth certificate of you and a copy of your permanent residence.

No money ( 800K) or support of any kind is required.

1. Application Form

2. Copy of the passport of the applicant

3. Copy of the proof of relationship such as marriage evidences between your parents, birth certificate. This will be certified at the Embassy of India in BKK, translated and then certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

4. Copy of the certificate of permanent residence and copy of the ID Card of the foreigner who has the permanent residence in Thailand.

Our professional fee is 6,500 Baht + 7% VAT plus 1,900 Baht for the government fee.

What if I aquire a relationship letter from the Indian Embassy here as my parent is here now in TH as a Tourist, and then get it attested from them and then from the Foreign ministry and give it to my Parent along with the copy of my PR? Can she get a Non-o visa from the Royal Thai Embassy in India, if she applies after 6 months to come back to TH? and can it be changed into a 1 year visa in TH without showing 800 k? Will I have to get a Relationship letter from the Embassy every year I apply for a 1 year visa for my Parent?

Not required. What is required is

Copy of the proof of relationship such as marriage evidences between your parents, birth certificate. This will be certified at the Embassy of India in BKK, translated and then certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

Copy of the certificate of permanent residence and copy of the ID Card of the foreigner who has the permanent residence in Thailand.

You then simply write a letter inviting them.

Can she get a Non-o visa from the Royal Thai Embassy in India, if she applies after 6 months to come back to TH?

yes

and can it be changed into a 1 year visa in TH without showing 800 k?
As stated before...

No money ( 800K) or support of any kind is required.

Will I have to get a Relationship letter from the Embassy every year I apply for a 1 year visa for my Parent?

Who said you have to have a relationship letter from the Embassy? You need a copy of the birth certificate and your parents marriage.
