Change in visa requirements for French Nationals??

Featured Replies

I have a seller due to come to Thailand this week to attend the Land Office re the sale of his property.

Today he informs me  that as of 1st April, French Nationals need a visa to enter Thailand and he does not have enough time to get one before he us due to fly on Wednesday.

He is of French-Arabic decent  - he thinks maybe that is the issue. Has anyone else come across or heard of this?

I have heard of any changes to the visa exempt entry allowance for a anybody holding a passport from France. Who is telling him he needs a visa.

Just checked this site that has the requirements from the IATA for entry. https://skyteam.traveldoc.aero/#input

Screenshot of the results.

I seems somebody may of fell for it that is in France.

Visa requirements for the French have not changed. But some people think that the French of Arab origin give a bad image of France in Thailand.

So yes it's a joke: April fool.
