Hi everyone, My name is Robin, I'm epileptic and take the medication "VIMPAT 100 mg" (lacosamide) as part of lifelong treatment. I'm planning to move to Thailand in a few months (under the DTV VISA) potentially long-term (up to the 5-year DTV duration), splitting time between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. I'm looking to know if my treatment (or generic lacosamide) is available in Thailand, and if so, the approximate price per tablet/box. If anyone has any firsthand experience or knows of a website that could help me answer these questions, I would be grateful. If any of you also have general tips/recommendations regarding buying medication in Thailand, please feel free to share them (regarding the acceptance of foreign prescriptions, differences in treatment between individual pharmacies, public hospitals, and private hospitals etc.) Thank you!
