CityNews – Court Region 5 denied a request by a group of Chiang Mai citizens to enter the judicial residences area.

All power to the elbow of these brave people.

Is Court Region 5 now a private institution that it can refuse Thais people's entry onto the Doi Suthep property? As the judiciary is supported by Thai taxes and some buildings were termed "offices and courts" I'd think not.

But then maybe Thailand's judicial system fundamentally operates outside the Thai people's constitution and their sovereignty. The taxes paid by Thais in effect become tithes paid to a feudal organization.
