webfact
Parents of one year old go to Paveena saying daughter was sexually molested Pictures: INN Parents of a one and a half year old girl say their daughter was sexually molested while in the care of a neighbor. "Rung and Rot" had left "Em" with neighbor "Pha" (all assumed names) while they went to work at a factory in Chonburi. A fee of 4,000 baht was agreed per month for all day care. On April 26th before work was finished the parents got a call to say that their daughter was unwell. She had blood coming from her vagina and was pale and upset. Pha was not saying what had happened. The parents took the child to hospital where they confirmed sexual assault. No semen was found but DNA was taken. The child was admitted for five days. Chonburi police were informed. On the 27th Pha came to visit and admitted when pressed by doctors that she had given the child to another neighbor called "Noi" to look after on that day. She gave the child back in the evening and the child was then clearly unwell so she called her parents. Doctors said an object that was not sharp had caused abrasions inside the body of the little girl. The parents went to Paveena Hongsakul of the foundation that bears her name in order to hurry up the police investigation. Police said that DNA samples of a suspect were now being compared. The case continues. Source: INN -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2018-04-

jacko45k
A sense of diminishing responsibility and higher risk as the child is passed from parent, to minder, to another 3rd party. Is the solution better organised daycare facilities?
