Lack of protests is because of fear of being taken away for attitude adjustment. And when protest begin they will have one target that may actually unit the Yellow and Red shirts. Or...there will be an election that results in new leadership which may bring new protest similar to the old protest because the root of the problem will not have been resolved. Songkran has come and gone. The average IQ in Thailand is still 89 and has been for 12 years, despite the Flynn effect.
