That is the best joke i have read in a long while.

Lack of protests is because of fear of being taken away for attitude adjustment.

And when protest begin they will have one target that may actually unit the Yellow and Red shirts. If that happens it won't be pretty. Or...there will be an election that results in new leadership which may bring new protest similar to the old protest because the root of the problem will not have been resolved. As you say, fear of retribution is the cause for the protest to subside, remove that fear and its off to the races.

Pure and simply the voice of a military junta.

Correlation does not prove causation.  Many things have happened during this same period.  Oh, stiff penalties for protesting comes to mind.  Songkran has come and gone.  And any of hundreds of other events that could be presumed (incredulously or not) to be the cause of less protests

Anyone with an IQ < 100 will likely believe them, which is why the Thai education system has been failing Thais by design for a very long time.

The average IQ in Thailand is still 89 and has been for 12 years, despite the Flynn effect. Singapore is 108, which is odd since everyone knows Thailand leads SEA in everything.

Even better than this guy:

So, elections next week then?

Do they understand the difference between reconciliation and repression?  My guess is no.
