   I've updated three computers two days ago, but just found out today that my second PC didn't show the MS office gadgets anymore.

 

   When clicking on an Office file, word pad opened. I was already thinking to reinstall Office, but then saw that only the short cuts had disappeared. 

 

    I've then opened a few files by right clicking- open with- and saw that Office 365 was available. After opening three files that way, all icons went back to normal and all is fine again.
