I just downloaded a series called Marco Polo,watched the first episode ,not bad at all

I'll give it a go then.

Episode two, totally naked Chinese girl fighting off three soldiers, and that was just the highlight!

10/10 for this series.

I don't think I've ever seen so many naked Asian girls in anything before, and only watched two episodes.

Yeah, all the regular uploaders are on KA, just downloaded and watched Homeland upped by ETTV as usual a reliable one, and came in a only a few minutes of downloading.

Yes, but that is a really popular show. I can't find a copy of "Kingdom" - the American one - that I can use and it has been out 3 or 4 days. There was not a lot of choice on PB either, but I could always find at least one download that worked. MP 4 flies do not work on my player or computer and that is all I can find.

The Pirate Bay went dark last week following a raid by Swedish police. In its wake a number of sites aping the original have popped up, attempting to fill the void. Don't trust them.

Yes. That is the show. I am using an old DVD player that has a port for a flashstick, but it only plays avi files. However, I usually watch Kingdom on my computer, because there are so few downloads online and hardly ever avi files. I am not sre why, but my computer won't play mp4 files and most of the downloads are in that format.

It might just be that I know how to use Pirate Bay better, but it seems to get more new downloads faster and I find Kickass more difficult to use. I mostly use avi files, so the more choices the better. I often can't find them on Kickass for newer programs.

Having been forced "kicking" and screaming (5555) from PB over to kickass, I have to say it's pretty good. There are a few features I quite like. Being able to hover over the comments is interesting. Plus, when you go to a torrent, there's info about the show. I still like IMDB for detailed show info, but it's OK. I do miss eztv!!

I tried torlock.com, but wasn't impressed. You have to click on the torrent to find the magnet. A bit of a hassle if you are trying to DL several episodes.

Thanks to those pushing Homeland. Wifey didn't like it, so gave up after a few episodes. But back at it. Just starting season 3. Very good. Finished House of Cards several weeks ago. Very good. Will have to check out the original also.

My other favs: Justified, Shameless, Sons of Anarchy, The Fall, Blacklist, Blue Bloods...and of course anything Sci Fi! 5555

After noticing how late I was to notice the new season of Grimm was out decided to look at my other ones that were on 4 month breaks between seasons. Ooh, The Big Bang Theory season 8 started in September and Season 7 ended in May. I'm happy now and will look at what else I missed such as latest season of Walking Dead. I need to find a way to manage what I've seen and when they start up again.

I don't want to have to memorize every name and then keep searching for them individually. On PB, they would end up on the top 100 list pretty quickly.

I don't like cam or screener copies. I tend to wait till the real thing is out. I get emails from a few sources that tell me when a movie has been released to DVD. Here's a few:

On kickass you need to sort under the 'Browse' tab. You can choose TV or Movies and it should default to most popular. If not sort by 'Seeds' and it will give you the same result as the PB top 100.

Thanks for all that. I can't find anything but mp 4 files and I can't play them. My "all in one media player" says it plays them, but won't. I might get desperate enough to try to convert the files to avi, but last time I tried - a few years ago - I could not figure it out. Maybe it is easier now.

DVDVideosoft is a free package of software all in one bundle. If you only want MP4 to AVI then you can download only the MP4 video converter. Very easy to use, and did I say free?

The 100 . pretty good sci-fi

Ascension, got started and got me interested , some twist early on

Person of Interest, is getting some good plots in , almost sci-fi in some ways !

Master Chef Jr. concluded , surprising how good these kids were this season, as a chef I was amazed how good !

Aren't screener copies as good quality as DVDs? They usually have some type of watermark to identify them, but that does not bother me.

Yup, generally screener's are the real deal, they're more times than not the ones sent to those who judge film festivals / award season... I'm a big fan of award season for this very reason

It depends. Some are, most aren't. Also depends on what type of DVD your normally download. I pretty much only DL 720P blue ray, sometime 1080P. These movie rips are normally 5GB and can run up to 18GB and more! I avoid YIFY as their rips aren't very high quality. About 50% of the file you DL is audio. I normally watch movies on my HD TV with 5.1 surround sound. So it's a big deal to me. If you have a lower quality TV or only use the TV's speakers, it's not worth the bandwidth! 5555 I get some lower quality DLs when I know I'll watch them in the office or the bedroom.

I hate the watermark. Really bugs me. And some screener copies aren't what you'll see when the real movie comes out. Especially if the movie has an extended release. But overall, it's not that big of a deal.
