Got high last night and came up with this. Still seemed like a good plan this morning

The not so original idea is to legalize all forms of weed in Thailand. Nationalize the production and distribution and earmark all proceeds towards education. I have tried to balance all the positive and negative below:

Negative;

-people more stoned than presently stoned

Positives;

-Thailand desperately needs education reform

-Thin the prison population of non-violent drug offenders

-Incredible source of tourism

-Possibly free up police to actually fight violent crime

-Increased employment

-Mellow out a high stressed population

-Slow down traffic speeds

Is it just me or might this be a good idea ?

They already spend a high proportion on "education" of the repeat after me kind...they need to change to a ask questions and think for yourself kind
..but they won't because the aim is to produce "citizens" that just blindly follow convention and orders...not to have "free thinkers" that would be dangerous to the dinosaurs.

No prob with grass here,   but I thought the powers that be of this site are fully a.n.a.l. r.e.t.e.n.t.i.v.e.l.y.  geared to be  in a 60's kind of thinking  approach about it from a highly conservative sort of way.   After all there is a seriously conservative bent to the entire forum,   YES?

I.e.   put all the culprits in jail..   555    :smile:

Good luck.

True story, when I was about 14 growing up in South Florida me and my BF B.G. got busted by his parents smoking pot. BG's dad was quite the boozer and sat us down to talk about the evil weed. He said if we ever get the urge to smoke that shit again that we were welcome to partake of his well stocked bar. We took his guidance to heart and most every time we smoked weed after that we would follow it up with a few shots. After all, Father knows best !

Used to spend £80 every 10 days smoking weed in London but since moving here 3 years ago I just stopped and I do not miss it at all.

I do not think this country is responsible enough to legalise this.

Where is the Police going to cover up for the lost tea money when weed get legalized, and where is the generals going to make their money for their land and summerhouses? Think about it, it will ruin so many peoples lifes, so better keep it illegal

I guess you forgot to read the forum rules this morning as well.
