KLM jet makes precautionary landing in Phuket

Newsinflight.com is reporting that a KLM Boeing 777-200, Flight KL 809 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, had to make a precautionary landing in Phuket, after smoke started filling the cabin when a passenger’s mobile phone ‘overheated’.

Khon Kaen Airport Braces For 1,500 Rockets

ZURICH (Reuters) - A 104-year-old Australian scientist travelled to Switzerland to end his life, telling a news conference on Wednesday the nation's liberal assisted suicide laws let him commit suicide legally, in contrast to his home where it remains forbidden.

Search in ambush killing fails to find evidence

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain has reached a settlement with Abdul Hakim Belhadj, a Libyan former rebel leader who says he suffered years of torture by Muammar Gaddafi's henchmen after British and U.S. spies handed him over to Libya, the Guardian newspaper reported.
