Curious way the Muslims show they appreciate the support of France in recent headlines. I'm looking forward to see how they show their approval of the Germans.

Curious that you equate the actions of a tiny minority to the majority.

Let’s hope all Farangs in Thailand aren’t blamed for the actions of the minority of villainous/sicko Falangs among us.

I offer that it  is not a tiny minority, but a majority. Here's why;

- These killers have friends & family. When these people see the behaviour of the killers they can  intervene and prevent the murders. They can contact the authorities. However, they choose not too and instead look the other way.

- These killers go to mosques  with fellow extremists. Why are these mosques allowed to operate? Why don't other religious adherents speak out?

- The killers are not raised in a bubble. Blaming their radicalization on "the internet" is a cop out. Many teenagers watch porn and violence on the internet and do not act on it because they are surrounded by families and a society that sets moral parameters and leads by example. The killers come from families where they are encouraged in their deviant ways. When they go out and violently agitate against western governments, or threaten government officials for enforcing local laws and are aided and abetted by their community. It is normal in some arrondisements for there to be be rallies where the speakers call for the destruction of the  USA & UK and of course death to the jews. No one says anything,

These homegrown terrorists are a reflection of the communities that they come from. All that separates them from the their community is that they are acting on their hateful views.

The killers come from a state within a state, a subversive population who  do not support French values, nor respect the French culture.

Unsubstantiated diatribe.

Update from Reuters

Quote

The assailant was categorised in France as “fiche S”, an indication used by law enforcement officials to flag people who may be a threat to national security, said another source close to the investigation.

These flags are not working, time to try something different.

Don't know about cover ups. But the German police were in denial about the Cologne NYE sex attacks for sometime. Trying very hard not to actually reveal the true context.

Now I saw on the BBC this morning that Sweden is considering investigating the links between immigration and crime!

Well, I never.

Your personal opinion re tge German police is unsubstantiated.

Would you prefer Sweden did not investigate links between immigration and crime.

Me personally, I like investigations and enquiries, especially Public Enquiries.

They tend to replace uninformed opinion with hard facts.

The security services have to get lucky every time.  Terrorists only have to get lucky once.

Unfortunately it won't be long before the next spectacular.

True, our security agencies have claimed Islamist terror attacks will be ongoing for a number of years; hopefully not at the same tempo as the past few years. It does appear Western target attacks are currently wanning somewhat, but in some Islamic countries e.g. Afghanistan still frequent mass casualty Islamist terror bombings.

I was in Strasburg last year and there was a bomb warning alert at the main train station. No panic, but hundreds of people wandering around in the forecourt - thank god it was a false alarm.

True, perhaps a bullseye tattoo on the forehead?  Just in case these previously identified 'threats to security', act out their murderous intentions, it would make a fine target.

Doh!   It came from the link which is clearly visible at the bottom of the graphic.

The stupidity. :cheesy:

Read it and educate yourself. You've complained repeatedly about other commenters' "unsubstantiated" opinions, without contributing any substance of your own.

No it didn’t I checked.

Which is why I asked you were you got it from.

Doh!
