I offer that it  is not a tiny minority, but a majority. Here's why;

- These killers have friends & family. When these people see the behaviour of the killers they can  intervene and prevent the murders. They can contact the authorities. However, they choose not too and instead look the other way.

- These killers go to mosques  with fellow extremists. Why are these mosques allowed to operate? Why don't other religious adherents speak out?

- The killers are not raised in a bubble. Blaming their radicalization on "the internet" is a cop out. Many teenagers watch porn and violence on the internet and do not act on it because they are surrounded by families and a society that sets moral parameters and leads by example. The killers come from families where they are encouraged in their deviant ways. When they go out and violently agitate against western governments, or threaten government officials for enforcing local laws and are aided and abetted by their community. It is normal in some arrondisements for there to be be rallies where the speakers call for the destruction of the  USA & UK and of course death to the jews. No one says anything,

These homegrown terrorists are a reflection of the communities that they come from. All that separates them from the their community is that they are acting on their hateful views.

The killers come from a state within a state, a subversive population who  do not support French values, nor respect the French culture.

True, our security agencies have claimed Islamist terror attacks will be ongoing for a number of years; hopefully not at the same tempo as the past few years. It does appear Western target attacks are currently wanning somewhat, but in some Islamic countries e.g. Afghanistan still frequent mass casualty Islamist terror bombings.

 

I was in Strasburg last year and there was a bomb warning alert at the main train station. No panic, but hundreds of people wandering around in the forecourt - thank god it was a false alarm.
