"In China people cleaning up after there dogs is not a problem".

But they seem to have a problem cleaning up after themselves, roadside kerbs and taxis spring to mind. :cheesy:

You hate being told to use common sense and behave like a normal dog owner?

  • Meh, clean up your dog's waste and ignore the old guy as he obviously wants nothing to do with you.

tell me too .   i wanna be there to see the shit fly !

Even in America if you live in the city and walk your dog you are expected to clean up after your pet.  No one wants to step in dog poo while out enjoying the weather.  You do not need to have a "talk" with the old Thai guy because I think the answer to your question is obvious.  If you Do speak to this old man show some respect as he was in Thailand before you.

It is common courtesy to pick up your dog's poo and as said is law in many countries, like my own - the UK. It isn't hard to do, buy a pack of 100 white plastic 10" x 5" or 12" x 6" tie-handle bags from Big C or Tesco and stick a couple on your pocket when you go out.  Simply put your hand in the bag and pick up the poo, turning the bag inside out over it and tie it off.

So simple, hygienic, responsible, you do not come into contact with a bag's contents, and you leave nothing to offend anyone. When you get home chuck it in the bin. What could be easier?

That works if you like the feel of crap in your hand. I don't.

Don't allow your to dog to defecate in public areas then, or carry a small shovel...

Or better still, don't own a dog as it appears you are unable / unwilling to look after it properly.

Not in the Queensland where we live when not in Thailand. You are talking Brisbane or one of the other cities......there's a lot more to Queensland than those.

okay

I'm pleased for you

If dogs run free, then why not we
Across the swooping plain ?
My ears hear a symphony
Of two mules, trains and rain
The best is always yet to come
That's what they explain to me
Just do your thing, you'll be king
If dogs run free.

If dogs run free, why not me
Across the swamp of time ?
My mind weaves a symphony
And tapestry of rhyme
Oh, winds which rush my tale to thee
So it may flow and be
To each his own, it's all unknown
If dogs run free.

If dogs run free, then what must be
Must be and that is all
True love can make a blade of grass
Stand up straight and tall
In harmony with the cosmic sea
True love needs no company
It can cure the soul, it can make it whole
If dogs run free.

I'll bet you dislike cleaning it off the bottom of your shoes even more.
