Video: The old boyfriend, the new one, the woman and the Itoh knife

A video doing the rounds of Thai social media shows the ex boyfriend of a woman dragging her in full view of the public just 300 meters from the Prajuab Khirikhan railway station yesterday.

 

The jealous ex is wielding an Itoh kitchen knife while the new boyfriend in white is trying to rescue his girlfriend.

 

Thai TV reported that the man in white received four stitches to an arm wound in hospital.

 

The police will talk to the man with the knife today.

 

The couple had split up five months ago.

Arm the 'good" people. The idiot with the kitchen knife could've been shot multiple times then and perhaps hopefully with no collateral damage.

Will they now, I feel better already. I suppose he will be asked by post or through family to jolly well come down the police station pronto for a quick chat when it's not too inconvenient. This "summons" nonsense for stuff like this just beggars belief really. Why aren't the cops getting off their backsides and hauling him down to the cells to answer for assault. He should be given an extra 3 weeks in jail (on top of standard sentence) for throwing an impromptu hissy-fit over nothing and harbouring a dangerously fragile ego. Then again though, we will probably see the scumbag holding a basket of bird's nest drinks whilst doing a wai with cops looking on getting the photo op rubbish in a few days...or mummy will come down to pick him up from the station promising on his behalf that he's sorry and will behave now that she has become involved...pfft.

I know it may sound stupid but it is beyond my comprehension why nobody interfers? I could never jump my shadow in such cases and would have gone inbetween with all consequences.

Of course you are right BUT I just couldn't see something like that and just wait until they collect the bodies - it is an automatism / instinct for me - fully aware it is dangerous and not smart.
