Since the UK clocks changed to summer time I cannot get the EPG and 7 day archive to sync in Perfect Player using Flawless IPTV? Anyone else found this or am I doing something wrong? The live EPG is correct time but the archive 24 hour catchup list is always 1 hour in error?

 

Asked support, but they just said reinstall PP. Was wondering if it's something related to Thai time zone usage?

 

 

Catch-up is 1 hour out for me using perfect player and Live is OK, their Kodi  addon was accurate but catch-up remains more miss than hit so rarely use!

catchup during peak hours is fairly useless unless using a vpn to europe, the catchup server is in Prague,

also unlike other catchup services, flawless uses real HD quality , so you need a 4-6mb link to prague to view catchup without issues, 

 

I find during peak hours, my isp will throttle my overseas bandwidth to certain countries down to 0.7mb then it suddenly speeds up, then it down to 0.7mb,

 

If you use Perfect player with level 4 cache , this will help. Also a vpn to france or germany makes playback a dream.

Thanks for confirmation. Must be an issue with Perfect Player as the guy at Flawless said? The timings are all good on the Kodi and apk catchup versions at least.

I tried this after you mentioned it but cannot get the correct catchup shows to stream, it streams another show instead. What settings do you use. I tried EPG offset 0, +1 and no difference.

set your android box to UK timezone, then it works fine, it did for me,

Thanks, yes that works on IPTVSmarters. Perfect Player still has the same error, so I will use IPTVSmarters for catchup instead now.

OK I found the solution myself for Perfect Player, and IPTV Smarters is uninstalled again as I don't need it working only with the Android clock reset to UK timezone.

 

In Perfect Player can keep the timezone as local Thai time and simply use following playlist url (below) to fix the archive timing offset by 1 hour. Now the catchup and EPG all play on correct times and the Android box is set at local time zone.
