Thaivisa Sms Service

The SMS service is currently not accepting new customers or new top-ups. I would recommend you to find another service. If the SMS service is to be relaunched, it will take some time.

Thanks for the reply George,

What a pity it was such a handy service to have on hand.

Anyone one with a reliable replacement or alterntive service you know abut or use...?

Thanks in advance

Yahoo Messenger offers free-to-send PC to SMS for a limited range of Thai telcos. Was very flaky in the early days but now reliable, at least in my experience for AIS. Little detailed information available, but I believe it's around 1 baht to receive SMS on mobile, and 3 baht to reply. I also believe that the receiver must reply to a minimum number of messages (1 in 3 ?) in order to keep receiving.

But why will this service be closed?

Thanks for reply.

Sent many sms and none reached the recipient's phone!

And no warning, no apologize, thank you sms.thaivisa !
