I made an application to Etrade about 6 weeks ago but it seems thier customer service is very bad. I have e-mailed them numerous times to enquire why it is taking so long and is there a problem. Just note that according to US laws, in order to daytrade there your account size needs to be minimum $25,000. If you are not a daytrader, $5,000 will be enough to open an account with the above.
