Which Samui Bars Do All The Uk Expats Hang Out?

where are all the uk expat drinking haunts?...ive seen a few in that english bar in fishermans village and had a brekky in faulty towers.....also ting tongs in bang rak,doesnt have to be uk only,its good to talk!!!!!

Yes I am Meatgrowler. I am sure someone here can point you the right way.What I found in the past,is they do the pub rounds,well that's the case in Lamai anyway.They try & support other bar owners.Another hint is ,try & find where they hold quiz nights & darts comps or sunday get together,you will find a healthy smattering of expats.

You could always try CoCo Blues. If you like dancing like your drunken mum at a fammly wedding, this is the place. Helps if you have a Hilux outside and a knowledge of the property market, otherwise they wont talk to you.

Elephant and Castle in Bang Rak run by two brothers Mark and John you guessed it from the E+C and Fawltys run by Peter from Birmingham. All very friendly and am sure will point you in the right direction.

We could start by indulging in your initial suggestion... that evil, demonic practice of, erm... finding cool bars to drink in with nice people to chat with. Nasty barstards, the pair of us for daring to consider such a thing as, erm... having a drink in a bar. I mean, that realy is Samui going to hel_l, isnt it?

Roo - very sore, but fair point. We are utterley crap at Cricket and in fairness, I wouldnt have it any other way than the ozzies winning it. You deserve it. From our performance, it will be a cold day in hel_l before we desreve to hold the ashes up again. RIP British sport!

I am getting the credit/blame for this post by the lads at the elephant and castle and my protestations of innocence are treated with derision.I have said that i wish i could take credit for it as it sums the place up quite nicely.So come on,don't be shy ,confess your true identity ,and i might even buy you a drink(at the Elephant obviously).
