Mekong Bob
ever received money from USA via Western Union? notice the hidden charges? Exchange rate (dollars to baht), as determined by WU, results in a handsome profit for Western Union. 500 dollars, at 29 baht to the dollar, netted a (hidden) $30 profit for WU. Beware. EricTh
If you don't need the money fast, just use bank TT which has better rates than Western Union. Western Union prey on people who need the money immediately. The best rate is when you bring in cash but that would be too expensive if you don't intend to fly back. Mind you, she's gone strangely quiet since she got the lottery prize fund customs clearance fee...
