Junta Files Complaints Against 41 More Protesters

With a sign decrying the draft as "outdated and unnecessary," activist Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal defers enlistment for one year in 2017.

 

BANGKOK — Police on Thursday revealed an additional 41 people the military junta want charged for violating its ban on political gatherings among others.

 

The list includes prominent student activist Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal, pro-democracy activist Pansak Srithep, taxi driver and Redshirt Paisarn Chanparn and Chananin Kongsong, a rubber farmer and former member of the People’s Committee for Absolute Democracy with the King as Head of State.

When a government is this afraid of a small number of people who merely want their voices heard, bad bad bad things are coming.

 

I sincerely wish that Thailand would get off this path before it is too late...

 

 

Frightening that a handful of people think they have the sole right to political opinions and thought. 

How pathetic!!

Silly sods the junta is only helping these protesters, and they cannot see it.

Slowly people are seeing  what a corrupt bunch the junta are.

So: They are continuing to hound their critics with everything they've got and in another thread, we hear the election 'might' now be 11 months away, not 8. Put 2 and 2 together and what do we get...?
