2 month extension based on being a parent.

Hello,

well its nearly time to go to immigration to get my extension.

is it true I will get 2 months for having a non-o based on having a thai child?

and also what documentation is required to show the i.o.?

If it is your first extension on the current visa, the yes, you will get 60 days for being a family member of a Thai national (In this case your child).

 

Docs are passport, birth certificate, child's tabien baan and some proof of residence(lease, letter from house owner)? I stand to be corrected, but I think that was it...

You will need their birth certificate plus a copy and a copy of their house book registry (original is not required).

Copy of your passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

2.24 In the case of visiting a spouse or children who are of Thai nationality:
Each permission shall be granted for no more than 60 days.

 

1. Application form.
2. Copy of applicant’s passport.
3. Copy of household registration certificate.
4. Copy of national ID card of the person having Thai nationality.
5. Copy of a marriage certificate or copy of a birth certificate.
