webfact
PM joins in vaccination demonstration to promote flu prevention BANGKOK, 6th June 2018 (NNT) – The Ministry of Public Health has promoted action against influenza and three new strains of flu by giving a vaccination to the Prime Minister. Minister of Public Health Dr. Piyasakol Sakolsathayadhorn, ahead of this week’s Cabinet meeting, led a team from his office to meet with Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha and administer vaccinations against A H1N1 Michigan, A H3N2 Singapore and B Phuket, three new strains of influenza. The vaccinations were just a demonstration as the PM was already vaccinated and were done to promote action against the threat of flu. The Health Ministry and its Department of Disease Control are this year focusing on building awareness of influenza among pregnant women and children between 6 months and 2 years of age. They are being urged to receive vaccinations as they are susceptible to complications from the illness and are six times more likely to succumb to the disease. In 2017, up to 12,926 children under the age of 2 contracted influenza, 6.43 percent of all infections. Vaccinations are being provided from now to August 31 with 3.5 million doses available. -- nnt 2018-06-

Maintain a healthy immune system, cost = zero! or have crappy health and be fearful of contacting every major ailment going! Can see what your choice is.... "Conspiracy theory" its a business they are running! do you think they give a dam about your health ? 2

Thaksin's sperm. Would have been a great practical joke. Prayuth might not have seen the funny side of it though. connda
Considering that only 3.5 million doses are available, the Thai big wigs can have mine. Down here grubbing with the commoners and their animals, the vaccinations I find useful are the rabies vaccination and Hep A/B. Now the flu vaccination? That's a crap shoot. You're betting the the strains in the shot are the stains that will show up in the wild. And wait a minute!!! That's Betting!!! Isn't that illegal??? Hummmm! ?
