Featured Replies

The elites can bail out of a premeditated murder charge here in Thailand?  Crap, that says it all.  Think about it!

This is hard to get my head around. Charges related to murder should never ever, no way, be granted bail. What idiot thought up this concept of bail for murder?

He's in serious trouble on several counts.

Anybody want to guess what day he will disappear across an unattended border with police help and gone?

My guess is - within the next couple of weeks, but could be wrong of course.

It's quite difficult to escape from the tight grip the immigration officers have on the border.  Here's the proof of their commendable efforts from today's news.  http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/two-immigration-officers-face-probe-phra-prommethis-escape/

Tight grip... I doubt that, there are hundred of kilometres of borders where immigration nor army is permanently present and no fence to stop people simply walking from one country to the next.

Go back to some of the details of Yinglucks' disppearance, the above was openly mentioned by senor police. It was also mentioned that there are 2 or 3 private airfields in cambodia no more than 30 / 40 Km from the Thai border. Airfields well capable of handling private jets and no need to lodge flight plans etc.

The corrupt monk just last week, it's now mentioned by the police that errant police officers with help from errant immigration officers got him into Lao, then he got quickly to PP in Cambodia and no problem to board an aircraft and arrive in Germany.

This guy is a billionaire, money is no object for him to arrange all of the above and little doubt he knows who to contact to arrange it all.

Quite a story if anyone has been following it.

The first wife of Banyin also died in a similar car accident. The stockbroker who is accused of forging the transfer documents claimed to be the mistress of  Chuwong and said he gave her the shares because she was carrying his child. She said she knew Banyin but wasn't close to him.

DNA testing done after the birth of her child showed Banyin to be the father (according to The Nation), guess she was a lot closer to him after all.

Has all the makings of a good soap opera.

I can remember the story, with the alleged crash test that should be done there, how someone could die in a crash against a tree at 20 km / h, but that must have been years ago. The snail's pace of justice is considerable in some cases. Now he flys on bail.
