My wife and I will be in Udon Thani from August 18 to September 15 for a holiday/retirement practice trip. We are a quiet typical middle aged couple (no smoking, limited consumption of Chang beer). For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
