Motorcycle taxi guy stole gold from farang's Thai wife

 

 

Pattaya Station chief Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch announced the latest arrests of a snatch thief and drug dealers at the resort on Friday.

 

Pol Col Apichai said there were five men and one woman. They are the people in the motorcycle helmets in our picture.

 

Star exhibit was 31 year old Hiran "A"  Narksomboon a motorcycle taxi rider who swiped a half baht (about 10,000 baht value) gold necklace from the neck of a Thai woman called Wasana Kertnoi who is married to a foreigner. They were riding a bike at the time.

 

Hiran was found to have previous for drugs and a warrant out for his arrest from the Pattaya court on drugs charges. 

 

The others arrested were all connected with "Ya Narok" said manager in a reference to Ya Ba. 

 

But for a change the Pol Col was not giving out any more details as this might prejudice the investigation.

This has got to be wrong, surely its 'motorcycle taxi driver returns stolen gold necklace to woman'...……..eventually !!!

Dare I say it.......was the morcy guy her thai husband/boyfriend......

warrant for his arrest in Pattaya and the same time he was a motorcycle taxi so that's means he didn't have a licence to operate as a taxi driver because how can he get a license and same time have a warrant for his arrest 

or he work for police as a dru......

Or possibly just lack of police work

Guy must be really special. No sunglasses etc for him . He has the cops waving their arms about to cover his face !!?

So if I made a negative assumptions about all Chinese people, or all Indian people based on no more than their origin, that would be OK? I have a very specific understanding of racism, and making an automatic, negative assumption that a man's wife has a criminal boyfriend, based on nothing more than the fact that she's Thai, fits that definition perfectly.

 

Do posters who trot out these well worn cliches consider that quite a few of their fellow forum members may have a Thai wife?  It's insulting, xenophobic and 'doo tuuc', and in my opinion racist.
