‘Suthep Party’ Floats Unity Govt With Archrivals

BANGKOK — A conservative party widely seen as a proxy for former firebrand activist Suthep Thaugsuban said it’s willing to join hands with the party he helped drive from power.

 

In his appeal to the Pheu Thai Party, Anek Laothamatas, the recently named chairman of the Action Coalition of Thailand, said it’s time political rivals bury the hatchet and form a “unity government” after the next election. He cited last week’s historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as his inspiration.

What this idea and its floater needs is a good flush.

Suthep Thaugsuban.... yuck! I loathe this liar and hypocrite, the epitome and paradigm for everything that is wrong with Thai politicians.

 

And “unity government”, as aspiring a term as it may superficially sound, can effectively only mean one thing: The usual bunch of trough feeders feeding each other "in harmonious unity" to make sure that everybody has had their fill and more at the expense of the country.

 

Nothing's going to change if that "unity government" should materialize, especially not with loathsome Suthep pulling the strings.

Never never never never never turn back on King of Lizard.

Fallen out with his buddy Prayuth? They will have the goods on each other and perhaps Suthep is looking for a get out of jail free card?

Another concubine of all that is wrong and evil with Thailand.  He even astonishes serpents with his lack of honesty.  Just shows how low things have become since the removal of the Shinawartes.    

Crocodile tears or not any crooked ex politician who can join others to help remove the incumbent PM and his military clowns deserves unreserved support, albeit it temporary. After the job is done a re-assessment of this creep can be made to decide whether he stays or goes.

Are those rats bailing out of the great Prayut hope? So the party is a non starter because they can't attract the financing and the resources to run in all constituencies as they originally boasted. People have turned their backs on the party and crocodile tears Suthep and the party will become insignificant in the election.

He's a coupmaker.

 

His aim is not to remove the Junta at all, but to secure their opposition voter base with another false ideal...just like he did in 2014.

 

Where was he when the real protesters were out on May 22nd fighting for legitimate freedom?

 

Hopefully people see through it, and he does not become another catalyst who paralyzes the whole nation, again.

Suthep needs an amnesty himself. He's facing some serious charges. Maybe time to team up with the Pheua Thai folks like him who are facing charges that will mean imprisonment.

After all, charity begins at home!
