One person has been killed after a white van ploughed into a crowd of festivalgoers

 

A VAN has ploughed into a group of pop fans at a festival in the Netherlands, killing one and injuring three, before the driver fled the scene.

 

Police in the province of Limburg say that authorities are still looking for the white van or small bus.

 

A spokesperson for the police said it may have been caused deliberately but were not sure either way.

 

The incident took place around 4am local time near a campsite for the famous PinkPop festival in the southeastern municipality of Landgraaf.
