We are moving from Thailand to Ireland next week and in order to keep the info on my desk to computer I would like to take it (by post) with me...but would it work in ireland

 

Also would my Thai DVD player work in ireland

Your desktop computer will work just fine, power in Ireland is the same as Thailand. Make sure you make a backup of your data and take it with you, or just put the hard drive in your carry on.

 

Your DVD player will work OK but may not play local (Europe) DVDs unless it has been made region-free. It's usually done by poking buttons on the remote, search the web for instructions or talk to your local DVD player man, it's worth getting it made region-free before leaving Thailand.
