BANGKOK, 25th June 2018 (NNT)-The Department of Trade Negotiations will give manufacturers of locally made goods an opportunity to showcase their products at several international conferences in Thailand, due to be attended by foreign delegations in July.

In response to the government’s farm product promotion policy, the Department of Trade Negotiations will provide a platform for state-enterprise communities and producers of farm products to sell and display their goods during global events held in the Kingdom throughout July.

These include the Thai-EU Working Group on Trade and Investment (WGTI) Conference, the Thai-Bahraini Joint Steering Committee (JSC) on Food Security and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Meeting.

More than 800 participants from the European Union as well as ASEAN and its six trading partner nations will attend the events. The Department of Trade Negotiations sees it as a great opportunity for local manufacturers to promote their products globally and increase market channels.

Don’t we all know people in Europe crave for veggies sprayed with pesticides, farm prawns full of antibiotics and fish caught with a little help from our enslaved neighbors…?
