Thai Rath posted a video of a tearful and thankful rescue worker after the happy news that the Mu Pa football team and their coach had been located in the Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai.

The unidentified rescue worker - with the flag of the United States on his jacket - spoke in Thai and was seen hugging a man dressed in white as he referred to the emotion of the last ten days and its dramatic turn on Monday.

The man thanked all the officials for their work saying that everyone worked so hard and dind't sleep. He singled out the cooperation of hill tribe people, Burmese and members of the Muslim community.

"(Finding the boys and their coach) is the greatest reward I could ever get," he said fight back the tears of joy. "Better than being rich or having money.

And as he hugged a man seemingly from the Islamic community he added:

"And I got to make great friends like this".

He finished by speaking of the need for all peoples to love each other.
