Approved mileage rate (KM) for expenses claim in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone have any info on what is an acceptable rate per KM for expenses claims relating to business use of a personal vehicle?

Preferably a rate that may be published by perhaps the Thai Tax office or other credible organisation and verifiable.

Would be grateful for any ideas.

Thanks

Lee

My company (well, the company that I work for) gives about 6-7 THB per km when I use my car to drive to the airport for a business trip. I'm not sure if this is any official or representative rate. Distance is calculated in the expense claim tool using Google map.

Hope this helps.

You are presumably referring to tax allowances, not employer expenses. Otherwise, you should check with your employer.

If tax, enter Thai tax allowances online and you will see a selection of links. PWC is probably the most comprehensive.
